"My love affair with ceramics is lifelong however my participation in creating ceramics only began in 2000. I have always been fascinated with the concept of placing a quantity of clay on a wheel head and creating something someone can use. Wheel forming is my passion and my pottery is largely vessel based. Apart from two courses at TAFE and the odd half day spent learning to throw with my neighbor, potter Annette Copland, I am largely self taught. In an effort to learn quickly I have become something of a workshop groupie."
