“My work with clay is inspired from my existence, my early life in this living and breathing world of bush and farm, clean air, hills and growing grass. All is reflected in what I develop, by shape, texture and colour.” Sam works full time with his chosen medium, clay. Having completed several courses at Coffs Harbour TAFE, attaining 6 distinctions and 5 credits in his final year of Certificate III. Previous employment with Southern Cross Pottery and currently “Technical Assistant” with Coffs Harbour TAFE – Arts and Media. A member of the Coastal Claymakers Inc., permanently displaying his art at New England Regional Art Museum- Armidale and Hornsby Art Gallery- Sydney, NSW Australia. |
