"Working with clay has been a life's business. The range of options being so wide, I find it hard to stick to one area or style so I try anything that appeals to me that is within my technical abilities. Lately the work is becoming more direct; the soft, non-glossy surfaces of unglazed clay is more appealing because of the simplicity. I am making figures at the moment."
