Clay has been part of my life for 30 years and I have never lost the enthusiasm to design and create functional tableware and home-ware pots for people to use and treasure.

I studied and gained an Assoc. Dip. of Ceramics in 1981 from Darwin Institute of Technology and as a student attended many visiting Master Craftspeople Workshops sponsored by Craft Australia to further my knowledge of clay.

I settled in Coffs Harbour in 1988, built a new studio, bigger gas kiln. Being my own boss I was able to experiment with different designs and decorations – using glaze-on-glaze for a wealth of colours all very influenced by the environs.  I still like to share my knowledge and enjoy different ways of firing: pit firings shared with local  potters; smoked with Terra Sigillata; Raku etc.  Mainly my pots are made of White Stoneware or Porcelain fired in a 27cf gas kiln to 1300 deg. C
