"My ceramics started in the early nineties and I have been specialising in Porcelain since 2003.  I begun my potting as a self taught clay torturer and then when the need became obvious studied for a diploma in Canberra at the ANU

For me Porcelain is enough to satisfy my cravings.

The pots shown here are laminated slip.  I work on a plaster slab and build up layers till I get a result I am happy with. The translucency of the medium allows some colours hidden within the clay to come to the surface.

Sometimes I make some big chunky thing as a bit of relief.

I spend all of my time making pots.
I worry that clay is taking over my life.
I think ceramics,  my friends are potters,
I teach pottery and even my dreams are substantially silica, alumina
and a bit of flux."
